Fun Facts
I studied International Affairs and Journalism at The George Washington University.
I’m originally from Massachusetts and love the New England Patriots.
I took (and passed!) the Foreign Service Officer Test in my 20s, but decided to keep working in domestic politics because I met people all over the world impacted by policies made here at home.
I love to travel and my favorite city in the world is Beirut.
I have a tattoo on my wrist that was inspired by a group of women I trained in Iraq on how to support the country’s transition to democracy.
Being a mom is my favorite thing in life and it only makes me appreciate the work I get to do more.
I’m Ashley, the founder and president of Impactual LLC, a social impact firm that supports brands, nonprofits, and philanthropists that want to see positive social change in the world. I’m recognized as a civic engagement and political expert and featured in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Into The Gloss, Glamour, and Marie Claire.
My focus at Impactual is on creating innovative programs to engage people where they are, producing engaging and educational resources, and facilitating trusted partnerships across brands, nonprofits, and influencers. I’ve helped architect some of the country’s most visible civic engagement programs supported by Lady Gaga, Yung Gravy, Lil Jon, Kerry Washington, and more.

Connect the dots
I love facilitating unusual partnerships that make a project wildly successful. I’m proud of the companies, artists, athletes, talent, and nonprofits I’ve brought together to drive voter registration iHeartRadio, Tinder, Twitter, Lil Jon , Kendall Jenner) or deliver thousands of pizzas to the polls (Pizza to the Polls, UberEats, Lady Gaga, Tracee Ellis Ross).

I throw amazing parties because I love to help people celebrate wins — big and small. Progress often happens step by step, and recognizing those moments keeps teams energized and focused on the bigger mission. We deserve to take time for joy and celebration in the midst of doing hard things!

Civic Responsibility
Sofia Gross and I co-authored a widely cited case study for the Harvard Kennedy School Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation that demonstrated how businesses can play a huge role in mobilizing employees and consumers to vote. Read the full report to learn more.
